PODCAST: TWO "SCREAM KINGS" PODCASTS

​​Dr. Scahill joined Scream Kings podcast hosts Max George and Nathaniel Darkish for two consecutive episodes this summer as he shared his scholarly perspective on the genre, its politics, and its pleasures. He first joined them in July for their 50th episode, where the panelists broke down the 2011 horror satire Cabin in the Woods. Then in August, Dr. Scahill returned to discuss his favorite Vietnam War protest film, the original slasher, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Prof. Scahill is the only guest to make a return appearance on the podcast, and was dubbed an honorary "Scream Knight" for his appearance. Chivarly is not dead! It's undead. Check out these episodes today:
