MEETING FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA
Dr. Scahill was honored to have some one-on-one time with former First Lady Michelle Obama as she visited Denver on her "Becoming" tour. Scahill's longtime friend Chef Art Smith, Michelle Obama's personal chef on the tour, arranged for the meet-and-greet before her packed performance at Pepsi Center stadium. Scahill and Obama talked about higher education and the humanities, and Prof. Scahill shared his experience of teaching at Georgetown University in DC during the 2008 and 2012 elections.
